Brenda Christison

York born and bred, Brenda was a primary school headteacher before deciding to follow her passion for art, specialising in needle-felting and textiles.

A member of The International Feltmakers Association, she uses British wool, incorporating embroidery wherever possible to add detail and depth (and because itís fun to do!). Every piece starts from just a blob of fluffy wool, which is stabbed repeatedly with a very sharp needle, until the desired shape is achieved!

Inspired by the natural world around her, she makes all sorts of creatures, pictures and cards, aiming to create items to make you smile! Please remember that her items are not toys due to the small bits of wool involved.

Each piece is unique, and commissions are welcome.
