Angela Myers
I have been crocheting for about 7 years and since I
finished work it has become a full time obsession. I live in a small and
magical dale on the North York Moors, hence “Made in Fryup.” My work consists
mainly of crocheted bears of all sizes and colours. I also make owls, sheep,
elephants and a range of brooches and covered wreaths, mostly with natural
themes and often including bears. I generally use natural yarns and prefer
merino and alpaca blends though I also use organic cotton ranges for bears which are suitable
for babies. All my bears are ideal for babies as I embroider faces and
attach scarves firmly so there are no removable parts. Staithes Arts and Crafts
Centre is the perfect place for a little colony of bears to settle and thrive!
